Both routes are made in the same facility; the design drives the process, not a catalog SKU.
Tubular steel frames suit guest, conference and contract frames where section size, wall thickness and bend quality define the silhouette. Review cut lengths, bend radii against tube diameter, end treatments (open, crushed, plugged or with glides), and how the frame closes after bending. JALIN runs CNC tube bending on five machines; bend feasibility is reviewed against your geometry (no fixed mandrel claim is published).
Formed-wire frames suit one-piece or multi-member wire chairs and seating parts where wire diameter, member geometry and joint pattern carry the load path. CNC wire forming (fifteen machines) and welding prepare parts for finish. Only a small number of wire designs are made as complete chairs; most programs receive frame components.
Sheet-metal stampings support flat or formed brackets and interfaces when the drawing calls for them. Material grades (e.g. SPCC tube, low-carbon wire; stainless when the project requires it) are confirmed per program.

Chair frames usually come down to how tubes or wires meet, and how the assembly stays square.
JALIN does not publish fixed tolerance classes. Critical dimensions, squareness and twist checks are agreed against your geometry and inspection plan.
The finishing route follows the material and the use environment—not a single default.
Discussed options include e-coating (electrocoating), electrostatic powder coating, decorative copper–nickel–chrome plating, and electropolishing and passivation for stainless steel. Colour consistency is judged against an approved reference when the program requires it. Coating build-up around holes, joint gaps and mating faces should be named in the specification.
We do not translate a finish name into a corrosion or service-life guarantee; test methods and acceptance criteria are agreed per product and customer program.
Inspection should be agreed before first article—not after. For seating programs, in-house equipment includes:
Test methods and acceptance criteria are agreed for each product and customer program. Broader QC (coating thickness, gloss, colour, salt spray, dimensional checks, etc.) is described on Why JALIN; ISO 9001:2015 certificate is published there.

From development to packed frames: For seating metal parts, the same connected route applies: review the drawing and load path → form tube or wire → weld or assemble → finish → inspect (including chair tests when specified) → pack to the product packing specification. Homepage and Why JALIN describe the factory-wide disciplines; this page is the seating-specific entry.
Factory context (Zhongshan, Guangdong): about 50,000 m²; 2,000+ pieces of equipment; 1,000+ forty-foot containers shipped per year; 3,000+ products developed. Seating-relevant equipment includes 18 welding robots, 5 CNC tube benders, 15 CNC wire-forming machines, 9 robotic grinding stations, 379 presses and 3 laser units. Exact machine assignment for a frame is confirmed in project review. ISO 9001:2015 on Why JALIN
JALIN mainly supplies chair-frame components made from steel tube and steel wire; only a small number of wire chair designs are made as complete chairs.

Yes. In-house seating tests use a chair seat fatigue tester, an office chair base compression tester and an office chair back tester. Test methods and acceptance criteria are agreed for each product and customer program.
Each product has a packing specification. Most chair products are wrapped in pearl cotton (EPE foam) and shipped on stacked steel racks.
Yes. A photo or measured sample can start the engineering review, but a drawing is still needed before a quotation. Tube projects can begin with the chair-frame tube fabrication review guide.
No. JALIN does not publish fixed tolerance classes. Critical dimensions, squareness and twist checks are agreed against your geometry and inspection plan.
